Cheyenne Fiveash, (TKA-4493-073), was born on
September 23, 1992
and passed away from Diffuse
Pontine Glioma, on October 30, 2004. She had just turned 13 years.
Cheyenne
was born an athlete. She loved track, loved and played basketball on Coach
Slate’s team, the Mystic Slates, and was a champion in Tang Soo Do Karate
with the Martial Arts Academies in San Angelo. Her trophies fill her room.
Cheyenne
was also a born animal lover. She could not pass up an animal without
wanting to take it home. Of her many pets and animals, her horse, Black
Jack, and her baby puppy, Cinnamon Sugar Fiveash, meant the world to her.
She was an honorary Constable with the Bexar County Constable’s Office in
San Antonio and an honorary member of the Angelo State University Rambelles
Basketball team, number 00.
She was born in and raised near San Angelo and attended the seventh grade at
Christoval Junior High School where she was an excellent student and
where she left many, many friends. On her
13th birthday, her friends from Christoval Junior High had a billboard with
Cheyenne’s photo wishing her a happy birthday, placed on U.S. Hwy 67,
approximately 5 miles west of San Angelo. This gift
gave Cheyenne immeasurable happiness.
