Like many other members of the Tang Soo Do Karate Association, Heather Duty
began her martial arts training as a way to participate in her children’s
activities. Heather, and her sons Logan and Trevor began training in 2000 under
the instruction of Grand Master Thompson. “I thought it would be great
exercise and a great way to relieve stress”.
Heather has been married for the past 24
years to her husband Bobby, US Army, Ret. She is mother of four sons,
Morgan, Travis, Logan, and Trevor. Heather and her son Logan promoted to
the rank of Cho Dan in December 2005. Trevor Duty is Gup ranked and is a
top student at Ed White Dojang. She is also holds regional rankings in
tournament sparring and kata.
She is a nurse by
profession and a supervisor at a health center in San Antonio, Texas.

I have ever done for myself was to become involved in martial arts”.
