Master Jimmie G. Samuel began his martial arts journey in 1980 at Thompson Karate Academy under the guidance of Grandmaster Johnny K. Thompson in San Antonio, Texas.  Mr. Samuel is a member of  the Tang Soo Do Karate Association based in San Antonio, Texas. 

Master Samuel was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of  Fame on August 2, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. He also received a field promotion to 4^th Degree Master Black Belt on the aforementioned date. 

Master Samuel amassed many awards and championships while competing on the Texas fighting circuit.  Known for his seemingly unstoppable back fist and lightning-quick hand combinations, he earned his nickname as “The Cobra” 

Jimmie retired from the United States Air Force in 1997 after twenty two years of dedicated service.   

Minister Samuel answered his call to the ministry in 2006.  Following a season as pastor of Macedonia, Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Corpus Christi, Texas, he has been supplanted  back in San Antonio to start and pastor Laboring For The Harvest Ministries. 

Master Jimmie G. Samuel is married to Diana (Glover), his long time friend and class-mate. They currently reside in San Antonio, Texas.
