Our 13th annual banquet and conference was a rousing success.  Congratulations to  all of our new Junior and adult Chodans (1st degree Black Belt).

Jesse Rodriguez (5th Dan - Master Level TKD), (Golden Dragons), who has been a fixture and a supporter of our events for several years,  was  awarded his 1^st Dan, TSD and membership into TKA. 

The banquet was a rousing success and again our attendance record was broken.  Miss Ea Dan Helen Espinoza did a great job of directing both events and we give thanks to her and her assistants.  Master Walthers handled the sound equipment and is producing the newsletter and will send it out shortly for all to enjoy.  Master Eric Jones took care of signs and lots of other logistical equipment and supplies.

Again, I am omitting names so many people traveled so far at great expense and time away from their families and it was all appreciated.  We look forward to seeing you all again next year in 2008, the first weekend in December.

You are all TKA recruiters and only you can push our classes, the arts and the TKA.  So please get the word out that we are a great organization and be a doer and a supporter. 

Several of our members were recognized for their achievements this past year.  Their  names were submitted to the Black Belt Council along with a list of accomplishments and the best qualified were selected from each group.  If you were not present your instructor will be presenting your plaque and patch to you soonest.

Make sure that all of you work hard with your friends and students and push them to achieve these prestigious awards at next year's event.  I hope that these plaques will find a nice spot on your wall where all your friends and family members can admire them and brag about your great accomplishments
